Chelsea Cromartie is a native of Winston-Salem, NC and currently works as Assistant Director of Counseling and Career Development at Rockingham Community College where she is responsible for planning and coordinating the RCC Transfer Fair, the annual RCC Career Expo, managing the schools online job board (College Central Network) and a number of other workshops and programming.

Ms. Cromartie attended Tennessee State University on a full basketball scholarship and graduated with a B.S. Degree in Speech Communications & Theatre in 2010. She completed her Master’s Degree in Adult & Higher Education at North Carolina A&T State University in 2015 and is currently a third year doctoral candidate at Gardner Webb University (Charlotte) studying Organizational Leadership. She will graduate in 2020.

Chelsea is heavily involved with another non profit, S.O.U.L. Society, a youth and community organization that is centered around support, opportunity, unity and leadership by way of education, arts, economic empowerment. 

Chelsea is involved with a number of other organizations such as the Urban League and the National Council on Black American Affairs, Central NC Chapter. she is a music enthusiast, vinyl record collector, poet, foodie, and currently resides in Greensboro, NC.
