Dr. Bannerman is excited to serve on the NC 100 Board, bringing us greetings from “The Land of Enchantment” (New Mexico). She is the wife of a wonderful man, U.S. Air Force Veteran Carlton, with whom she shares two children (my heart and soul): Camryn and Victoria (deceased).

Vickie has a vast array of knowledge, skills and abilities that have prepared her to serve our organization. She holds a BA in English/Afro and African American Studies from UNC-Chapel Hill, a Master of Education in Supervision and Administration and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, Administration and Supervision both from the University of Phoenix, with instructional and administrative experience in elementary, middle grades, high school and higher education.

Dr. Bannerman has served students, families and communities in my roles as teacher, assistant principal, principal, professor and program director stateside and internationally. She is also a proud and active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Always student-focused, data-driven and results oriented, Dr, Bannerman leads with a “By Any Means Necessary” approach, a firm belief that it truly does take a village to support children, and is abundantly honored to be a part of the NC 100 Village.
